Foundational vision and early proposal for global collaboration in longevity science

Note: This article was originally published during the founding stage of the 1mPossible Initiative. It reflects the initial vision that later evolved into the international 1mPossible Initiative.

Accelerating Longevity Science Through Global Collaboration

The 1mPossible Initiative was conceived as an international platform designed to accelerate research in longevity, rejuvenation, and related technologies through strategic cooperation among scientists, academic institutions, biotech companies, investors, and policymakers.

At a time when our understanding of human aging was advancing at unprecedented speed, 1mPossible was created to transform that knowledge into tangible solutions that extend, enhance, and protect human life.

Three Core Pillars

The initiative was built on three strategic pillars that defined its global mission:

Scientific Acceleration

Support for high-impact projects in longevity and rejuvenation, including advanced therapies, biomarkers, diagnostic technologies, and scientifically validated intervention platforms.

International Collaboration

Creation of active networks among researchers, institutions, governments, and companies across regions, promoting knowledge exchange, open data access, and the establishment of global standards.

Driving the Longevity Economy

Bridging private capital with science and public policy to enable the launch and growth of startups and technologies, fostering a long-term, sustainable ecosystem.

These three pillars laid the groundwork for what would later evolve into broader international collaboration in longevity science.

A Global Effort with Local Impact

The initiative included early participation from leading figures in the United States, Switzerland, Germany, India, and Argentina, and continued to expand with partners committed to the future of human health.

In Argentina, 1mPossible collaborated with technology and research hubs to position the country as a regional center for longevity biotechnology, connecting local talent with the global innovation network.

These early efforts set the stage for the broader global network that would later become the international 1mPossible Initiative.

Strategic Areas of Investment

  • Anti-aging and regenerative medicine

  • Cellular rejuvenation and epigenetic reprogramming

  • Life extension and metabolic optimization

  • Cryonics and advanced preservation

  • Bioengineering and convergent technologies

  • Applied physics for biology

  • Artificial intelligence for longevity

  • Technologies for the protection and preservation of human life

A Call to Action

This initial call to action invited scientists, investors, governments, and institutions to join a collective effort.

It represented the founding vision of the 1mPossible Initiative, an early proposal to build an international framework for collaboration in longevity science.
